Rick Perry is the poster boy republican - all about using taxpayer dollars for his cronies. republicans call that privatization. Who else could think that adding a profit and a profit motive to providers of basic services will make those services more attractive to regular people. Adding profit just rations basic services and makes cronies rich and richer. I'd call that what it is - public corruption.
