State Rep Juan Garcia is promoted to commander in the Naval Reserves

Congratulations!

Rep. Garcia added a new title to his name on Friday, when he was promoted to the rank of commander at a ceremony on the grounds of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. The ceremony was a prelude to another in October in which he is to be named commanding officer of Training Squadron 28.
