Tom Tancredo gets booed in Brownsville
He's lucky that the Brownsville residents are very nice.
One of Congress' strongest border fence proponents received a hostile reception Monday in the city that has become the epicenter of fence opposition.Apparently, there is only one way to do things in Tancredo's mind.
Boos and hisses emanated from the audience for a congressional field hearing when Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado dismissed residents' concerns that the effort to build 670 miles of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border by year's end would damage the environment and destroy a centuries-old bond between residents on both sides of the Rio Grande.
Late in the five-hour hearing, Tancredo returned to a comment made earlier by panelist Betty Perez, a rancher and local activist. Perez said, "It really isn't a border to most of us who live down here."
Tancredo dismissed Perez's remarks as a "multiculturalist attitude toward borders."

Hey guys,that link up there on the right is either the wrong Name or the wrong url. At first I thought yous guys have extended indicia towards a concerted / objective approach of Journalism and included one our websites in good faith. Usually when we (Corpus Christians) refer to Our Award Winning Caller Times it is in discreditation or rebuke, which one were you inferring?
The Caller Times is a source accepted by our community as trustworthy and reputable enough to quote without secondary corroboration. Most of the time it is what the Caller does not report that we have a problem with. If we use their material and it is inaccurate then IMO it would be demonstrative of the Caller Times' incompetency; however, it has not happened. The Caller Times is a Publication that the whole city relies on and is overall a good (positive) thing; the problem is when trusted media entities seek (and act) to control policy using deceptive tactics or withholding (suppressing) information due to Social and/or Business Relationships. JK

It is obvious he has not one iota of the multicultural community to whom he was speaking.
If he wants a wall so f'in bad he should go to Germany and rebuild it.

It's about time somebody got in D.C. got the guts to tell it like it is. These people are loyal to Mexico, not the United States. If they don't want to protect America from an ignorant and incompetent third-world Mexican government and the countries parasite ideologies, then they can move back to the cesspool they created south of the border. Viva Tancredo!
