Silvestre Reyes calls terrorist border crossing testimony 'crap'!
Way to go! We need more of that type of public assessment when Bush bots speak.
The chairman of a House committee has challenged the credibility of a supposed expert witness who, under oath, made unsubstantiated claims that terrorists have entered the southern border of the United States.
U.S. Rep. Silvestre Reyes, D-El Paso, is furious that Zack Taylor, a spokesman for the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers, was allowed to submit written testimony at a Congressional field hearing without providing any factual evidence to back up his claims.
“I intend to follow up with my committee and have a couple of my investigators follow up with Mr. Taylor. I want to make sure that when people come and testify before Congress under oath, that they are quoting facts; that they know what they are talking about,” Reyes told the Guardian.
