Why you should vote for Juan Garcia

Juan is running against the odious Gene Seaman for State Rep in district 32.

"Who's going to have entry to Perry, Craddick and (Lt. Gov. David) Dewhurst?" Seaman asked, driving by the hulking cranes of Naval Station Ingleside on his way to a Rotary luncheon in Rockport. "There's about five or six Seaman types who are going to be running the show."

Indeed, several Craddick lieutenants won't return to the Legislature next year, including Kent Grusendorf, Terry Keel, Joe Nixon, Elvira Reyna, Peggy Hamric, Al Edwards and Vilma Luna, a Democrat from Corpus Christi.

Who wants to vote for a Craddick tool?
Seaman also is the only Republican legislator from South Texas, which he pointedly noted in a June 15 letter to supporters.

"District 32 is part of the fence that is keeping the Democrats confined to South Texas," he wrote. "We must work hard to keep the liberals where they are."

But Garcia's campaign charges the "fence" sentence is racially motivated, a reference to the fence that would be built along the U.S.-Mexico border under the U.S. House's immigration reform bill.
And, who wants to vote for a racist?

Juan Garcia will likely, be much more responsive than a Sea Man.

If he would do something with the ability he has on the Board of the National Archives. Show some progress with the restoration project, take Amador by the hand and "git er done"he would be elected by the overflowing support of Damocrats throughout the Coastal Bend.

But he has to do more than fly around on "Air Force Juan"; he must reach the little people of South Texas. He can engage a plethora of Democrats if he will get busy with the restoration. This is all the advertisement he will need.

Will he heed the words or will he ignore?

WATT have you got to lose at this point Juan?

The news will be on the restoration of the Hector P Garcia building like flies on sh/t.

JK: Juan Garcia could donate "JUAN HALF" of his "war chest" to the Foundation (on which he sits as Board member) while personally managing the expenditures / projects / financials in a transparent operation. This act of good faith would single handedly restore the Doctor's name, restore the Landmark Building, produce a reaction of engagement in South Texas, and bring enormous masses of HD #32 Democrats to vote for him. He would blow a Sea Man completely out of the water. Pardon the pun?

Please forgive me?

I misspelled Democrats

Semen is not only physically ugly (forgive me Lord), but morally ugly. He has a r4cord of sexual harassment against the little people who are afraid to even report it.
He and Vilma finally found a little money for the pharmacy school by taking it out of A&I and giving it to UT. Texas Tech didn't have any such trouble. He got in my face seriously when I pointed out that the legislature didn't do its job.

I agree, however he needs to get elected and odds of that happening are slim. At least right now. Innovation and unorthodox approaches will bring him votes. Hecto P garcia Building restoration will bring Democrats who have not voted in years out of the woodwork.

Now,go out there and get to work on that building. Show us the progress and the election of Juan Garcia to the HD #33 seat will happen. Else we are stuck in the ocean of right wingers for another term with a Sea Man.

Although I feel the restoration of the medical offices is a lovely idea, Juan's voters are not likely to care about it much. Look at where the district lies in Nueces county and you'll find there are only 3 people with incomes less than $200,000

The Restoration of the Dr Hector P Garcia Clinic is much more than Nueces County. Restoring this Clinic readily will help Juan Garcia in many ways should he follow through. Juan needs every vote he can get and this will engage voters and bring a huge uniquely positive exposure. He has the financial clout to deliver the $250,000 in matching funds. To believe that the HD #32 constituency will not be motivated by the due diligence and the effort is inaccurate. How many people enjoy the fruits of Dr. Hector's work?

It is much more than Dr. Hector; it represents the work product of many families along the Coastal Bend.

Good Intentions are great, but Juan has the ability to show us not tell us.

To ignore this opportunity is simply ignorant.

"I'm doing it every day. I'm running on substance," Seaman said. "Juan doesn't have much to run on besides saying, 'Hey, I'm a good guy.'"
