Kinky offends
Bell and Perry discussed school finance at the Associated Press Managing Editors conference on Friday. (Bell is for financing schools, Perry is not.) See previous post.
Strayhorn railed against partisanship at the same conference on Saturday. (That's a joke without even counting little Scottie McClellan as her son.)
And what does Kinky Friedman say at the conference Sunday?
Author and musician Kinky Friedman said he'll offend, throw career politicians out of office, open Indian casinos and consider a moratorium on the death penalty if elected governor.

No question, Kinky is playing to his strengths when he promises to be offensive. Here's a video clip of Kinky at his offensive best (and is he drunk in this clip? If so, he ought get bonus points for being offensive and drunk on national TV):
link.
P.S. -- Of course Kinky is going to throw out career politicians because he's already talked about putting his own top campaign contributors into top political appointments.
P.P.S. -- If Kinky is going to "consider" a moratorium on the death penalty if elected governor, why doesn't he "consider" the issue now and tell us whether he will or won't issue a moratorium if elected because I'd like to know one way or the other before the election.
