Why was San Antonio quiet?
According to the San Antonio Express-News
But in San Antonio, once a hotbed of immigrant and civil rights advocacy during the Chicano movement of four decades ago, reaction this week has been limited to a few dozen students staging protests, along with contributing to increased attendance at the César Chávez march last Saturday. So, what's up San Antonio?
So why has the Alamo City remained so quiet while other cities exploded with activism?
It's a question student protesters, veteran organizers and analysts alike have a hard time answering.

THANK YOU for bringing this up. I think it's because they only care about the Spurs and whether they win or lose. I'm only half kidding.
I sure hope you are wrong. This issue has awakened and focused a lot of anger.
I hope I'm wrong too.
