Immigration debate roundup

Students protest in Austin, El Paso and Del Valle - with the Mexican flag. (Have you ever noticed that symbols are more important to right wingers than actual thought?)

Cesar Chavez's celebrations morph into immigration policy protests.

The 'Minutemen' are in the Valley to 'protect' our borders from illegal immigrants while LUPE organizes Chavez celebrations.
Peña is organizing a caravan of vehicles to leave Saturday from Gutierrez Park toward Guajardo Park in San Juan to join a rally organized by La Union Del Pueblo Entero, or LUPE, which was formerly known as United Farm Workers.

The rally is to show support for immigration reforms and to pay respect to UFW leader Cesar Chavez who died in 1993. Chavez was born March 31, 1927.
The Kingsville Chavez celebration morphed into protest over immigration policy and the Rangel Pharmacy School treatment. (Thanks to Craddick and his tools, Vilma Luna and Gene Seaman, for sabotaging the pharmacy school funding.)

Meanwhile, Bush is pushing cheap labor with Vicente Fox. Business demands cheap labor. The Senate will cave to Bush and business - see here and here.

Immigrants will keep trying to enter US.

Update: 10,000 march today in El Paso. Belton HS marches. Odessa marches.
