Bush's policies hurt border

Small businesses in the Rio Grande Valley will be hurt by Small Business Administration cuts.
President Bush’s proposed budget cuts for 2007 could shrink federal aid to small businesses in the nation, including those in South Texas, according to members of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee.

Democratic members of the committee recently attacked proposed cuts in 75 programs that have helped small businesses.

Rep. Solomon Ortiz’s office said that more than two dozen of those programs have aided small businesses in the Lone Star State.
The Republicans care about helping big businesses so big business will help them. The GOP money laundering works like this: business money to campaign money to government money to business money. The GOP doesn't care about the middle class much less want to nuture it. Afterall, what's in it for them?
