Will Tom sell out Christine?

The big news so far today is that Tom DeLay has officially conceded his Majority post. [See this NY Times story for more details.] We were all excited to hear yesterday that Randy "The Duke Stir" Cunningham was wearing a wire for awhile before his tearful admissions of guilt. This second Times story - Officials Focus on a 2nd Firm Tied to DeLay - mentions the Alexander Strategy Group which paid Tom's wife Christine at least $115,000 for Abramoff-related consulting work. ["Consulting work" is that what they're calling it these days?] Other reports have talked about the 'wives club' where money may have been funneled to the wives for influence. [See TalkLeft post]

Now, we all saw what prosecutors did in the Enron husband-and-wife cases. Would Tom let Christine go to jail? If not, hummmm, the possibilities seem endless!
